Hi, I'm Andrew Stack.  I'm a physician in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at the Dwaine and Cynthia Willett Children's Hospital of Savannah.  I take care of children and their families following an admission to the ICU.  Often, these families have just experienced a tragedy or a serious illness that has burdened them with incredible stress.  They experience a range of emotions, sleep deprivation, and daily challenges during the course of their hospital stay. The common comforts and routines of their life are pushed aside as they work towards going home.

The Ronald McDonald house is an invaluable resource that provides these families with a place to stay, meals, some of the comforts of home, and a pleasant distraction to provide respite during their life changing circumstances.  As a father of 3 girls (7 months, 3 years, and 5 years) myself, I cannot imagine what these families go through.  I volunteered to be a Shoe Guy because I want to help our local Ronald McDonald House in any way that I can.  So please join me in supporting this charity-- any and every donation is greatly appreciated.
