Scott Thompson was born in Savannah, GA on July 3rd, 1983 and lived in Pembroke, GA until 1998 when he moved to Effingham County, GA. Scott graduated from Effingham County High School in 2002 and then went to work full time at his uncle's company. In February 2004, he started his own business, Scotty's Potty's, that provided portable restrooms to construction sites and special events throughout the Coastal Empire.

Scott married his beautiful wife, Laura, in April of 2006 and started a family in Guyton, GA. In 2008, Scott grew his company further by adding on RooterMan Plumbers to provide drain cleaning and plumbing services to his growing list of clients. As his company continued to grow so did his family. Scott and Laura welcomed their first child, Madilynn, in 2009; second child, Mallory, in 2012; and third child, McCoy,in 2015. In 2018, Scott decided to add additional services to his company so he created Thompson & Thompson Service Group. Through this company he now provides Plumbing, Heating, Cooling and Electrical services to homes and commercial properties throughout the Coastal Empire.  From humble beginnings of just Scott and his wife with a couple field technicians they now serve with six office staff, a brand manager, and 18 field technicians.
