Dr. Bruce Mallard is a native of Nashville, Tennessee and a graduate of the University of Tennessee in Political Science. He is a career educator having taught or been an administrator at universities in Tennessee, Nebraska and Georgia. He and his wife, Kristi, moved to Savannah in 2006 and he currently teaches political science and public administration at Savannah State University. For many years he and Kristi have been election consultants to the news media working primarily on election night tabulating and analyzing election returns in five mid-Atlantic states. He has a daughter in Birmingham who works in physical therapy.
