My name is Tersh...it's short for tertiary or tershious. This term is Latin for three or the third, and my birth name is David Blissett III. My grandmother suggested Tersh at birth, and it stuck with me my entire life. Now that the awkward introduction is out of the way...I want to tell you a little about myself! I was born and raised around the Savannah area, except for a few years in Augusta and Fayetteville.
I graduated from Effingham County High-school...Go Rebels!...and joined the Air National Guard. After a short stint in the guard, I bounced around a few jobs to find what suited me best. I was always mechanically inclined, but I did not want to be a car mechanic. I worked at Arizona Chemical for about a year before being introduced to the HVAC industry. I have been hooked ever since!
Giving back to our community has been a huge part of my core value, and is why I have built it into the framework of our small business, Tri-Star Heating Air & Plumbing. Giving back has been in all sorts of forms, such as hearing of an elderly widow with no air conditioning and going out to repair it at no charge or donating money for cancer research. Our entire team is active in our community through different charitable organizations, and I believe that type of "People First" thought process must be second nature to anyone on our team.
My long-term goal is to create a company with the culture of giving back to the community so deeply imbedded into it that individuals from outside of our industry want to join our team for the sake of helping to give back to others.
Vote for me to be King for Sole of 2017 Wine, Women & Shoes!
