I was raised on Tybee Island and continue to live here. My wife and I have raised our seven children (blended family) and nine grandchildren here. I joined the police department almost 30 years ago, in June of 1992. I started as a dispatcher and have worked my way to second in command as the rank of Major. I was a volunteer fireman on Tybee for approximately fifteen years, during which I also became a certified emergency medical technician. I have been a member of the Tybee Marine Rescue Squadron for over fifteen years and the Tybee Lite shrine for two years. In all of these positions, it has been my goal to support the community and help people in need while here. I am blessed to represent the Tybee Island Police department and to be able to help raise funding for organizations such as the Ronald McDonald house. Their commitment to helping families in times of great need is similar to why I have chosen my paths over the years. I have not had to use their services but have witnessed the great work they do!
Vote for me to win No Shave November!
The money raised goes back to support children and their families at the Ronald McDonald House of the Coastal Empire!
